Turmeric is one of my favorite spices and holds so many incredible benefits. It’s also cheaper than a lot of medicines that mask and don’t really cure. I love it and would encourage everyone to start taking it on a daily basis.
Warm/Hot turmeric milk is a perfect way to start. You have two ingredients and it takes about 4 minutes to pour and heat. If you’re not a fan of warm milk then you can always add 1 tsp. of turmeric to your smoothie. For now, let me give you a short tutorial on how to make Warm Milk and Turmeric.
Ingredients and items needed:
- 1 cup fresh cows milk or milk of choice.
- 1 tsp ground Turmeric. I ordered from Azure Standard or buy it from my local health food store.
- 1 Mug
- Black pepper
- Stove and or Microwave
Take out all your ingredients and your mug.
Pour the fresh milk into your mug then place it in the microwave for 2 minutes or longer depending on how hot you like it. If you want to heat it on the stove that’s fine too. Be sure to heat on medium and stir continuously so you don’t scorch the milk.
Once heated, measure 1 tsp of ground turmeric into your mug and stir with a spoon. Add a dash of pepper to help your body absorb the turmeric faster.
All you have left to do now is relax and enjoy your warm cup of golden goodness. This cup not only looks like gold but gives your body golden benefits.
